ActivePivot Live delivers the power of ActivePivot based solutions and analytics direct to users, providing a radical and effective means of collaboration. Its intuitive navigation enables you to easily look at results or engage in analysis through your web browsers or tablets.     Click on the screenshot above to zoom in one of the panels. The standard ActivePivot Live UI has a browser window with four panels, which are described below. They can be customised per user and device used.
The Bookmarks pane enables the creation and sharing of bookmarks for pivot views or drill-throughs, so that you can easily revisit particular views or collaborate with other users in real-time (described under ActivePivot™ Live – Value-added Features).
The PivotView is the pane where you view in real-time the results of your analysis, either in the form of charts or grids, and monitor updates to the data. You can also interact with the data using filters and context sensitive features, such as smart menus and ‘drill in’ functions.
The Drill-though Blotter displays all the individual objects that underlie the aggregated value in a single Pivot View cell, so that you can drill through any value cell to inspect a snapshot of data. The columns displayed can be dragged around to change the order just like in Microsoft® Excel. It can be used as a real-time blotter or not.
The Wizard is where you build pivot queries. Similar in function and appearance to classic pivot table wizards, it allows you to build the analysis you want by simply selecting measures and dimensions from the cube explorer and dragging them into appropriate slots in the layout area.
Customisation of User View: You can define the panes, actions and even the data that can be accessed by each user. Some decision makers, for example, might only need to see some of the bookmarks and won’t use the wizard. Extendable Framework: ActivePivot Live is an extendable framework, which among other things allows customers to change the colour schemes and logos to their own company branding. They can also add panes (such as one to control ActivePivot Sentinel), and contextual buttons or drop-down menus for users to set analysis variables. Key Benefits
